Our Movement Classes focus on providing an accessible and safe environment to get back into moving after injury, or offer a place to explore new movements and techniques such as handstands, strength building, and trying out acrobatics.

HEALTHY MOVING

Find the perfect parkour class for you with Access Parkour's two introductory classes: Back In the Game and Movement Basics.


Both classes are great for absolute beginners and people recovering from injuries or returning after a long period of inactivity. They are also great even if you are not a beginner and want to just stay mobile and flexible.

A low impact movement class designed to help you learn balance, stability and coordination.

Movement basics is the class for those wanting to step into the world of parkour and movement skills but who aren't entirely sure they are ready for a parkour class.

The BIG (Back in the Game) class provides access to movement in a safe environment, for those with no exercise background or those interested in developing full and functional range of motion.

These classes serve to help people access their movement skills.

For some, it is about preparing themselves better to join parkour classes, for others it is simply a nice way to spend some time looking after your body and putting it through a range of healthy movements.

PLAYFUL ACROBATICS

Access Parkour offers a range of playful acrobatics classes for when you are ready for something new. We will also offer fun, engaging, and enjoyable ways to develop a movement practice that is suited to you.

Conditioning is the repetition of a movement to improve your physical fitness.

Conditioning is done with good technique, strengthens your body to prevent injuries, and improves your performance.

Conditioning is NOT, and should never be, just repeating movements until you collapse in a pile of sweat.

Conditioning class is perfect for practitioners or athletes who want a bit more informed training, or for those interested in overcoming small niggling or long-term injuries.

Expect strength-based work, tips and tricks, and lots of lovely injury preventing movements

Ever wanted to learn some of the more acrobatic movements surrounding parkour?

Our acrobatics classes introduce basic tricking and tumbling in a safe and secure manner with instructors that know exactly how difficult it is to transfer these movements to concrete.

Join our handstand aficionados at our regular handstand class!

Focused on both physical conditioning and technical practice, the class aims to teach you a strong handstand while also playing with some interesting variants.

Perfect for beginners who have never inverted before or experienced movers looking to up their handstand practice.

Indoor classes are an easy, accessible, and slightly warmer way to get involved in Parkour. Perfect for beginners or small groups.

Our purpose-built scaffolding rig allows you to learn how to swing, balance, and vault through the environment, and brings you back in touch with your playful side again.

Our classes are designed for those with no experience and aim to help you get in shape, regardless of your experience.

Our range of healthy and fun classes provides something for everyone.
We teach parkour and movement outdoors and indoors across Edinburgh and Scotland. Our custom-built space for indoor classes is called Room To Move.

Our range of classes is designed for those entirely new to movement or exercise, as well as the more budding athletic enthusiasts.
